Les Paul was, in my opinion, one of (if not the) most influential human beings in the world of music technology. His was most notable for his invention of the electric guitar; but in actuality his biggest accomplishment came in the form of his innovations in multi-track recording. Paul single-handedly made it possible for artists to record over there previous tracks, allowing for higher quality, better sounding music. Aside from being an inventor, Les Paul was also a very talented musician. He, along with mary ford, had an extremely successful single entitled “How High The Moon”, as well as many other popular songs and television shows. Throughout his life Mr. Paul collected numerous awards for his work in the field of music, all of which were well deserved; for without Les Paul our knowledge of the music based world would be dismal in comparison to what it is today.
